Troubleshoot AI service access without blaming the IP too early

Review network signals relevant to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other AI services while also considering account, browser, DNS, billing-region, and service-status issues.

Key points

  • Record the exact error before changing anything
  • Check official provider status and public reachability
  • Compare IP, account, billing, DNS, IPv4, and IPv6 regions
  • Test one trusted change at a time
  • Keep credentials and recovery information private

How to use this information

Confirm network ownership, observation time, and evidence sources before interpreting a classification or risk summary. Providers can disagree because they use different coverage, thresholds, and update schedules.

Match the result to the real symptom. Website reachability, streaming region errors, email rejection, account challenges, and wrong geolocation require different evidence. Change one variable at a time so the outcome remains reproducible.

Important limitations

An IP address can be shared, dynamically assigned, or recycled. Geolocation estimates the network exit, and VPN or residential-proxy detection can produce false positives and false negatives.

TrustIP does not log in to third-party accounts and cannot guarantee that a platform will accept or reject an address. Use the report to decide what to verify next, not as the sole basis for a high-impact decision about a person.
