About TrustIP

A focused IP diagnostic project with published limitations

TrustIP is an independently maintained web tool and technical knowledge base built around transparent evidence, reproducible interpretation, source attribution, and explicit uncertainty.

Who maintains the project

TrustIP is maintained by the independent developer behind the public GitHub account yandong2023. Editorial and technical changes are versioned so material corrections and methodology changes can be traced over time.

The project is not affiliated with the networks, databases, streaming services, AI services, or other third-party products that may be referenced for identification or technical context.

Open-source provenance and attribution

The repository includes open-source IP-quality tooling and reference material from the broader IPQuality ecosystem. TrustIP’s current web interface, crawlable knowledge base, provider-classification work, explanatory layer, and site policies are maintained as part of this project. Upstream licenses and acknowledgments remain available in the repository.

Disclosing provenance is part of the project’s trust model: readers should be able to distinguish public standards and upstream material from TrustIP’s own aggregation, presentation, and interpretation.

What TrustIP is trying to improve

The current priorities are to improve classification accuracy, make unavailable data explicit, remove placeholder-style signals from user-facing conclusions, and make important fields traceable to a source or documented method.

Corrections are welcome when they include reproducible evidence such as network-owner information, routing data, registry records, or a clearly identified third-party result.

References and source material

These sources are provided so readers can verify the technical background. Inclusion does not imply endorsement of TrustIP.
